Despite my other recent post I have been absolutely amazed and gobsmacked by the response from all the town centre traders to the idea of a trade directory and a possible loyalty card. I am awash with cash for entries and adverts. This is just great and a very positive reaction from the town. The idea is to publish all businesses in all the categories they fit and then give it away to the public who should then be encouraged to buy locally before looking on the net or elsewhere. I have undoubtedly missed people out so if anyone out there has a business in, around or concerning Hertford and would like to be included please email me from my profile. Entry in the directory costs £1. (not a misprint) and an advert £10 + VAT. Back to the DTP drawing board to design the thing but hopefully should have the first print run in early September for distribution through shops and the usual visitor outlets.
