Birthdays
Birthdays has a sign in the window stating that thei final trading day is this Saturday.

Soon to be T-Mobile. Ot at least according to the planning application, which never quite made it to Birtthdays window.
And should be a new thread but another High Street name son to disappar about the same time.

I think Birthdays was bought by Clintons Cards in November 2004 (well according to my husband anyway). They initially wanted to run the fascias as two separate companies (like Focus previously did with Wickes, for example), but are now rationalising their portfolio.
Would T-Mobile require planning permission? I didn't think it was a change of use, as it was a shop to shop conversion. Might need listed building consent, a la Caffe Nero, for the advertising hoarding. I didn't have the energy to trawl the East Herts website for the planning decisions, so someone else might know this!!
So.... who else is leaving??! Please tell!
