Hertford History walk......
went on the walk yeterday organised I believe by the Civic society and Museum and just want to say how informative it was.
I thought I knew Hertford well but there are things I hadn't noticed in my 50 years.......not least the egyptian theme of the bulding housing the resturant in For Street ( Lussmanns? ) I think I remeber it being Bates old fashioned food shop!
When in Hertford do stop and look up, it is amazing what you will see!

What was said about the Lussman building? I understand that it's quite a significant frontage in the world of old and historic buildings.

The Lussmans building I understand is alleged to have been a meeting place of secret society the Knights Templar of Aquarius - buts lets not get into all that again!

It is one of only about 6 in the country with the "egyptian2 frontage. I had never even noticed it!
