In the early hours of the morning a Ford Ka parked outside our house was completely stripped of all internal parts, seats, glove compartment and even the gear knob. This was probably done to order but suggests local people had walked the streets looking for 'opportunities'. The Ka is not mine but I feel for the owner who found his vehicle in the condition it was left. The thieves got access to the bonnet to disable the alarm by slicing it open with what must have been industrial strength bolt cutters. So if anyone out there sees or knows of someone fitting nice new leather seats to their Ka then they probably haven't come from the breakers and any information would be gratefully received.
