Winebar?
Myself and Frau F. were strolling through town on friday night looking for a bar where we could get a decent glass of wine but not have to suffer overloud thumping music or hordes of beer drinking aholes (a bar not unlike Corney and Barrow for those that know the City).
I couldn't think of one. Am i wrong?

Yup the Hillside. The only downside to drinking there is that it make you feel extremely hungry!!

We did try the snug for one. Have they turned the music up there recently?
I suggested the Saracen but the good lady didn't fancy the walk!!
I shall have to research the Waterside and Hillside.
