Does anyone know anything about the proposed pedestrian zone for Salisbury Square, Bircheley Green and Railway Street?

My guess is that this is to stop the parking that regularly takes place in these areas, especially the taxis that overspill the rank in Railway Street and clog up the area outside Toni and Guy and the T-Mobile shop.
