New look is looking good, very slick, yes a quick link from the DHO homepage to most recently active topics at http://www.hertford.net/yoursay/active.asp would be handy

Perhaps a good example of why a list of top threads on the home page would be handy. I saw first hand the car vandalism in Bengeo today and looked under policing (...law and order issues) to see if it was posted. I then put it as a thread and it was rightly pointed out that it was elsewhere and locked (I'd have hated to think of someone about to set off to work on Tues and not known if I'd assumed it was on). The top thread bit would probably have saved my/ Admin time...Just a thought.

I can't seem to link back to the home page from a selected topic by clicking on the Home link in the new format. It just says that the page is unavailable. I assume that now it is removed, you need to reassign the link to the new home page???

I'm having real problems with the new format. It's taking me five minutes to move past the first page and the rest of my computer siezes up until I get through. The only thing that moves is that ticker tape. This has only happened since the new front page and ticker tape was introduced. I have fast access through work. [V] Any ideas or anyone else got the same problem?
