where to buy paraffin
does anybody know where i can purchase paraffin for a greenhouse heater?
i know focus sell it,but £5 per gallon seems a bit steep...help

try the camping shop at the Hertford Caravan and Camp Site - they sell all that kind of stuff.

i asked this last year, and didnt get a response. luckily this year i have electricity for the greenhouse! anyway riverside garden centre last year had a large drum for £15, seemed a good deal, better than focus anyway!
diesel? in a greenhouse heater? never heard that before..

Try Botsfords in Parliament Square - they used to sell Paraffin and Greenhouse heaters!

Yes indeed. You can use diesel or heating oil in anything like that. Whatever you do dont use petrol though!

Bentleys the calor gas people used to sell it in 5 litre bottles. They are up the Ware road near the viaduct, next to the garage.

They are at the rear of Taylor trading estate behind Sam Centre, between Ware Garages and Desira (sp) ?
