Where was the Thistledoo cafe............
in Fore Street. I know it was there somewhere but not sure which exact building anyone know?
I believe it was a play on words.....This will do......so may not have been spelt like the post title.

I had heard that there was a cafe in the building that is now Martin Hale in Fore Street. Not sure if this would have been the place, but think that would have been in the 50's.

Opposite Ugly's and next to the tanning shop. It was knocked down in the 1930s to make way for a bus stop.

I did not get any old photos left by the family so am gradually getting a decent archive of relevant pictures thanks to you.

your right jennywrene, i remember as a young chap, going in there for a cup of tea with an aunt would have been the 1950 s
