Accident on A10 (by Hoddesdon exit)
Apparently there has been a big accident on the A10 next to the Hoddesdon exit involving 1 lorry and 3 cars..... :-(

yep, I left work in Cheshunt and headed towards the big roundabout near Turnford College and its chaos, the traffic was queueing round the roundabout.
I've had to come home through Cuffley, Newgate Street, Brookmans Park, Essendon through to Hertford by Richard Hale! :-/

was Newgate Street bad as well? it is quicker to come through Little Berkhamsted that go out to Brookmans park and back through Essendon........just a thought if it happens again.

Just that I go that way at 5 am 2 or 3 times a week so know it well!

Yes - I was stuck in the queue and went past it as the ambulances arrived. There were three or four small cars in quite a bad way and several ladies and children on the road talking to the fire brigade and police. The fire engine was parked on the opposite North bound carriageway and blocking a lane there - so it was slow in both directions. There were people in the ambulances but the doors weren't shut - which is a good sign. Hopefully, it was just the cars that were damaged.

Ah. That explains why the traffic was heavy in Waltham Abbey last night and I had to go via the Crooked Mile - and I'm now very pleased that I did!

looks as if someone may have died yesterday, I saw some flowers on the A10 next to a "flood" sign before Hoddesdon exit.... :(

I have noticed those flowers in the lay-by. But after reading the Mercury it seems that nobody was seriously injured in this accident, maybe unfortunately it may be an anniversary or something of another accident.
