Traffic Wardens in Bengeo
Did anyone notice, the person who is appointed to assist the police in road traffic duties especially controlling of parked vehicles, ie TRAFFIC WARDEN, on Bengeo Street on Saturday, he handed out several parking tickets to my neighbours is no street safe now!

I would guess they were parked illegally.

I can only guess they were parked on the pavement? maybe there have been complaints?

I assume they were, but Traffic Wardens are never about when people park on the chevron lines near Gosslin Road, block driveways, you can never find the drivers! poof! and the owners are gone! cars parked, facing the wrong way. I suppose they are running out of 'customers' in Hertford. Don't get me wrong, I am not against this. I am all for parking legally.

One was parked in the bus stop markings just beyond Tower Street. I was surprised to see the ticket. There are, incidently, no buses using that stop between 1707 on Sat and 0902 on Monday, so any offence was pretty technical

It is not always easy to get parked, but I agree the ones who really take the mick always seem to get away with it [:(!]
