Farm Traffic
Has anyone noticed that the Farm traffic going between Hertford and Stevenage never pulls over anymore to let traffic past? I remember years ago when they would always be courteous to pull over at some point. I was stuck driving home tonight in 2nd/ 3rd gear & there was a queue of at least 10 vehicles behind it. The driver was either completely blind or just couldn't be bothered to pull over.

...or maybe he's learned that he would have to wait for a bloomin' age before anyone let him back on the road during rush hour.

I've found its the same everywhere now.

I wish that farmer would drive through Bengeo ratrun everyday, at about 8.25.

I thought that the Bengeo Rat Run didn't need any additional traffic calming. What with the badly parked residents cars [B)] and number of people apparently using it, the average speed through there must be around tractor speed anyway. But aren't we wandering off topic?
Unfortunatley this is just another symptom of the lack of courtesy and increase in Car use.
Said Tractor presumably has to get from A to B just as much as the people driving home from St Evenage to Hertford.

Difference being that we won't hold the tractor up. It only needs to pull over for 1 minute.
ps Like the posh Stevenage name [:D] (not that it really deserves it!)
