About 1.5 weeks ago the council put a selection of rubber strips to measure road usage at the top of Port Hill, The Avenue and other roads in Bengeo.. So... today they have disappeared from Bengeo. If they were measuring the amount of traffic we get morning, noon and night its grossly inaccurate... for a start the past 2 weeks have had less on the roads due to the schools shut for half term at witsun! The last time these things were put up in Chapmore End last year , the Council now thinks we need 12 gravel lorry extractions on the road from Bengeo to Stevenage!!!!! from 7am to 6pm daily ! The results are wrong and I worry that the traffic indications from these results will make EVERYONE's lives in Bengeo and Lower Bengeo even worse... The Council has a lot to answer for....[}:)]
