£50k parking space anyone?

Possibly the biggest waste of money since Manchester United bought Juan Veron.
The day after they completed the work, a van driver couldn't be bothered to park in one of the new spaces, drove into Hutton and Close and straight up on the grass verge.
A better use of the money would be to employ a traffic warden in the area full time and tell the inconsiderate a***holes to park in the plenty of legal spaces or the car park in Calton Avenue.
Whoever was responsible for this should be named, sacked and made to pay for it out of their own pocket.

He could also park in the empty free car park in calton avenue.
Overall the statisitcs are a little misleading.
most of the new unrestricted spaces in Tudor way are all taken up with the residents of the flats opposite.
At least it is slightly better than them parking on the double yellow lines and across the drop kerbs.
The parking time limit means that the other spaces are now all available for shoppers rather than the shop keepers taking most of them up.
How long before they realise that the traffic wardens never patrol the area so they can park where they like anyway?
