Good Beer Guide 2008
This will be launched at the St. Albans Beer Festival at the end of the month, but I can tell you that the three Hertford GBG pubs are yet again included.

It's nice that hertford pubs are doing so well in the real ale stakes !!
When I asked our local CAMRA members who would be in the guide this year they told me I would have to wait to see when it was published.
Wish I had the inside info you did !!!

Is there a limit on the number of pubs that can be listed for any one town? I think Hertford is very lucky indeed to have at least 4 really excellent real ale pubs, all different and yet all selling quality ales.

CAMRA members have had their copies for a couple of weeks so a Launch at St Albans does seem a bit odd.

We do not have inside information. We had a letter from CAMRA HQ congratulating us together with the window sticker and poster. As Tigger said copies of the GBG have already been sent out to those members paying by DD, but the OFFICIAL launch is next week at the beer festival.
