Dream house

I'm not sure it looks like a 'home' though. Somewhere to show off as a status symbol, but you couldn't have a cosy dinner at a table sitting on glass, marooned in the centre of a room the size of a football pitch.

<Optimist dreamer mode> Assuming only one person per room - approx £357k each assuming the property is £2.5m. Not so much out-of-reach as you might first think. Cheaper than £350k each if they are couples - £175k, just a little more than the value of my tiny flat in Bengeo then.
Before I moved to this area, I used to live in a 27-bedroom detached Victorian house and everybody was stunned when they saw it from the outside and couldn't believe I lived there, until they realised I just had one room and my friends had a room each, with one couple living in another room. It was actually rather cheap living!
If I could persuade my friends (most of them are single) to do it again then I'd be straight in there. </Optimist dreamer mode>

I think £2.5m might be undervaluing the place though. The one-bed flats on Goldings Estate were being advertised for between £750k and £1m (from memory).
Perhaps I'd better wake up quickly ;-)

Never seen a more overly designed pretentious place in my life. All hard floors and no cozy carpets. Looks more like an art gallery than a home. 'Contemporary' is looking so 90's now!

yes, couldnt work out where that place was, it said a chapel near hertford? i know they did up the one in letty green but that was tiny...?
