Porn Comes to Hertford - Shock Horror!

Food and drink to the Mercury this week but I bet they are a bit miffed that job losses at GSK had to push it onto the inside page: "A HARDCORE pornography film was set in Hertford town centre shops, it emerged this week. The steamy flick, Shop Secrets, shows actors going into shops in the town centre. The DVD, which is classified as Restricted 18, includes scenes in SA Lingerie and Inter Sport in Market Place and Hert of Gold in Honey Lane." I think there is room here for a sequel too - they could use N*b Hill Motorcycles, Star*ucks (if they come) and the Knights Templar Love Tunnels [:p]

"..actors going into shops.." would suggest this is one of those annoying porn films which attempts a plot. Who buys a porn film because they hope to see actors going into shops?

As the film was directed by a local shopkeeper what are the odds that the same person is behind this publicity.

I liked the comment that "Nobody will know it is Hertford" Except for all the publicity splashed over all the local media[;)]

I wonder if had the owner directed a porn film in the town before she applied to open the shop, would she have been granted permission to open the shop? And is it acceptable for a sex shop in the town to have a mock tarty girls school uniform in the window?

I found the comment from someone who wished to remain anonymous amusing, "At one point someone off camera must knock something over because there was an almighty smash, but the actors just got on with it- they were really professional" I think that probably sums up the film then. More than likely shot on a mobile phone[:D]

The power of Discover Hertford... the paedophile's fantasy outfit has now gone from the window [:)]

Err, a paedophile likes children, not grown women in uniforms, there is a significant difference. How on earth can you draw similarities between the two? Reactionary idiocy.

It's not a unifom worm by adults. It is a mock of a uniform worn by a child. It is for an adult to dress as a child. I find that alittle disturbing.

This thread is heading in an off-topic direction.

I think there's a lot you would find disturbing that people get up to behind closed doors because you seem reasonably sheltered and old fashioned. You personally may find it offensive but fantasies are not illegal, and it has nothing to do with paedophilia, which is an adult attraction to children. There is an enormous difference, and only a Daily Mail reader, or an idiot, would believe otherwise. Some people even like to dress up as babies while still being an adult. The attraction isn't the child, but the feeling of being mothered. Same goes for most fantasies, you can take it literally or actually _understand_ the reasoning. You must not pass off opinions as facts, and mentioning paedophilia in the same vein is just typical of the politically correct world, sheltered people with strong opinons, no knowledge, and too much time on their hands. I have actually had enough of the small mindset that seems to permeate small forums.

Indeed I believe there are other forums on t'internet for people who unfortunately need the help of silly outfits and dodgy fantasies to get wood [:)]

It's extraordinary how the topic of sexual activity can be so divisive. Is it because it is deemed something to be kept behind closed doors, whether it be a prop-free, tender face-holding moment of intmimacy or a rampant bit of scorching, consenting nookie with another human, an inflatable frog, some washing up gloves and a tin of Carnation Milk? (Ummm... er..) Is it because our culture seems to be that sex is a bit naughty/unmentionable/or, as I heard a female friend describe it some time ago: 'dirty'? For privacy, see above. We're all human for gawd's sake. I suspect the vast majority of us like a spot of fun between the sheets (and I'm not quite sure where Mrs P's comment on examining the thread count of the linen comes into all this) yet suspect that speaking of what/when/how etc people like their action needs to be a carefully worded and carefully timed issue. At the root* of it all is to remember that just because others like what you don't (or like what you may be curious about but...[:I]) doesn't mean it's a free-for-all opportunity to judge, lambast or jeer at their choices. I don't know of anyone who does not live in a glass house... *not quite sure if I intended that pun or not...

Carnation Milk? Grrrr! Yeah, baby... [:)] I think when you have a child who dons school uniform 5 days a week, you maybe feel a bit uncomfortable about seeing school uniform sexualised in a local shop window. But otherwise, consenting adults and all that, whatever, I certainly don't care. [;)] Although I know a number of hard-working and career minded NHS nurses who have a bit of a problem with the 'Naughty Nurse' uniform... [:)]
