Farmers Market
Just a reminder that the last Farmers Market of 2008 will be this Saturday 8th December.
If there is a lack of turkeys there are plenty of other meats to try, relishes and cheeses and Saffron Brewery with their range of bottled beer and gift packs.
And the Market Beadle tells me that there will be a well attended Charter Market on December 24th. And if anyone from Ware is reading this Hertford has a right to stage a market on Christmas Eve irrespective of the day of the week, including Tuesdays.

We went to the market for the first time on Saturday (I have no idea how we managed to miss it before!). We went away with a lovely bit of venison, which we had last night and was superb, along with some Saffron Brewery ale for me, some interesting sausages, and some relish. I felt very sorry for the stallholders as it was bucketing down, but there were plenty of people there, all with brollies...
Anyway - thumbs up for the farmers market, it's great!
