If it was a new Fiat you will have to go an approved agent, the nearest is now Bishops Stortford.

The warranty is with FIAT not your dealer. You can get it warranty serviced at any FIAT dealer (I think). I don't seem to have much luck with car dealerships! Charvills went belly-up just before I was going to purchase from them. Now, having bought a car from DBS and it needing its 3rd year 'warranty' service to be done this month, I see they've gone into receivership! I think Motorsales in Harlow is probably the nearest FIAT dealership to Hertford/Ware now.

I have head there was a break in last week, no idea what they thought they would find! I am also told the demolishion team is due in the next 2 weeks, not seen a planning application as yet though.

Strictly speaking, the boarding needs planning permission. Personally I think it's quite unsightly.

I believe the site owners are going to put in a planning application for flats/houses and then try to sell to a developer. Land with approval is worth more than a site without any planning at all Just what we need, a few more flats [8D]

do you really need planning permission to demolish buildings that are not listed? Are you sure??? Thats insane if it's true.! I can understand requiring permission for the boarding or any other big alterations e.g. change of use of course. I can also understand having to comply with regulations for demolition, but again, not full planning permission?

I think you do these days, you used to be able to take the roof off to make it unusable but now you can't as I understand it it is all to do with the owner having to pay business rates on empty properties once they have been empty for 3 to 6 months depending on the type of use. Now all the buildings have gone a few walls are left as the services etc have not been disconnected surely they should not have demolished until that was sorted out?
