Thundridge Old Church
Does anyone know who owns the remains of Thundridge Old Church, near Cold Christmas? Would it still be the Church of England?
I visited there a couple of times last year to take some photographs and both times I was stuck by how sad the place feels. The reason for this is not any 'supernatural presence' but rather the all too present grafitti (A number of the gravestones have been spray-painted with luminous paint) and vandalism. The bell tower, which is all that remains of the church) has been blocked up with a brieze-block wall to prevent access, but part of this has been broken through and it looks as though fires have been lit inside.
It is so sad to see such an old building, which I believe is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, neglected in this way.
Has anybody else been over there?

Thanks Rachel, the links are indeed quite amusing. They do however fill me with a sense of foreboding at the prospect of TVA discovering this thread and hijacking it. There's a lot of interesting information buried in these links and an equal amount of tosh. I first visited the church on 1st September last year. My second visit was in December and at some point between the two visits, someone had seen fit to decorate the place with lumious orange spray paint. Perhaps more worrying is the fact that there are holes in the ground under the walls (the work of burrowing animals rather than occultists - unless they are demon rabbits) which may be damaging the founadtions. Anyway, I think a trip to Ware Museum may be in order.
