Restaurant with separate room/area for large group
Hi,
can anyone reccomend a restaurant or pub in hertfordshire where you can get together 20 or 30 people? Ideally somewhere where there's a separate room, or a smallish place such that we can effectively book the whole place!?

College Arms sits 18 comfortably in its private room. It can sit more but the elbow room gets pretty restrictive and can detract from the food and enjoyment of the evening I found.

Recently went to a dinner with friends in the private room - there were 20 of us and it was fab - lots of room, took our own music to play and fabulous food [:)]

What about the Hertford Club - upstairs is fairly roomy - cheap beer too [:)]

Don't you need to be a member to visit the Hertford Club? Not sure if you can book a dining room in the Salisbury? It has lots of little rooms that you may be able to book.

In the past I have been to dinners in a first floor room in the Salisbury which would certainly seat 20.
