Hey Admin.....why doesn't the email function work?
I entered my email address in my profile but it doesn't display when viewing it. And I know someonelelse who registered and entered their email address and I cannot see theirs either when I view their profile.
Is this a bug or deliberate?
It would be good to have this function working. We could then get in touch off forum if we want to and we could also do as the forum asks and 'welcome the new member'.

This function has been deliberately disabled to prevent unsolicited or unwanted emailing. It's a privacy issue. If you want you could include your email address with your biographical information on the members page.

Maybe I is a bit fick or summink.
I cannot see anywhere on a members page to include an email address, except for the email section, and that is what doesn't display it. If there IS somewhere else then what is the difference between displaying it there and displaying it in the email address section if they are both viewable by the public?

If you look at the top of any of the forum pages, you'll see a selection of menu items - below where it says "Discover Hertford Online Forum". If you click on "Profile" you'll see the email address you entered when you first registered. This is a required field but not everyone will want it on public view. For this reason it is hidden. Hope this helps.
