The standard fare from KX starts at less than £60 and if you're flexible on your dates they're pretty easy to get. So £67 sounds right. Eurostar is generally pretty good value.

8 of us paid £67 each last December. If you book ahead I think you get better prices.

I have only been for work. I am not sure of the cost but the service (journey, time, civility) was impeccable.

You don't even have to book that far ahead. I checked prices for next week and they started at £64.50 from St.Pancras.

That's great news then as the wife wants to go to Paris for her 30th. I thought the tickets would be at least £130+ a person.

Many apologies - the prices I have quoted are for ONE WAY. I didn't read either this thread or the Eurostar website properly! I tried again and found that you could get return tickets in September for £59. Prices were higher in August and the best price I could get for this month was £84 return.
