Rock at the Castle, Sunday 03 August 2008
I can't find a thread on this event, although it's mentioned on the homepage.
Hoping that the weather is fine and maybe I'll pop along and see the bands. Anybody else planning on going?

Would love to but I'm having a birthday party in the afternoon. If you turn up the volume it'll just about carry at a reasonable level to my back garden and then I won't have to worry about getting any background music sorted out.

feel so sorry for the organisers. went for a few acts..very enjoyable,wet but not cold, after seeing the amount of booze being taken in i reckon everyone wouldnt have noticed the rain.

Heard the whole thing anyway on my walk round Bengeo, Hartham, town centre and then inside my living room a mile away. Good job it didn't go on too late

It was a good day! The weather was a bit wet at times. Bands were great, and this time I got to meet Kev Saunders!

I spent a couple of hours at RATC with the family during the couple dry hours (Leon Colven to Broken Mile) and had a great time. My 6yo daughter who was not that keen to come at first left the event saying that "next year I'm not going to miss a minute". It's fantastic to see such a thriving scene in a town like Hertford. Well played all the organisers and all those involved.

Hi sally! Good to meet you on sunday. And while I'm here, thanks to everyone that came and stayed despite the weather. It was actually 3000 of you at its peak! Not bad for a very rainly day in hertford!
