Bakers
Hi
Does anyone know anything about the Bakers, they were sailors and lived in either Hertford or Bayford, apparently there is a monument on land between Hertford and Bayford does anyone know where the monument is exactly?

At the top of Cecil Road there is a footpath, walk along there a little way and you come to a footbridge over the railway line,when over this,you will find it in the woods

I see on the map that area is called sailors wood........makes sense that it must be named after them as it is a long way from the sea!
