it appears on the 'Eating Out' and 'Drinking' sections. I don't think they do food any more - did they ever at a weekend? It's only open to the public on Friday & Saturday now, with the rest of the week being for private hire

Thanks for this - oh no I was looking for a venue that do food for a midweek Christmas meal out - also need a place that is clued up on gluten free food & Elberts had been mentioned. Back to the drawing board...

The Roebuck at Ware might be worth a try?? The food ain't bad and they do understand the gluten free bit.(We have one club member who has a gluten free meal each week & he has never had a problem there)

Gluten free - The Vine, very clued up, one of the owners is coeliac, George and Dragon - watton at stone their website is very clear about whats gluten free.

I emailed The Vine a few days ago but haven't heard back yet.
Will look into The Roebuck, ta.
Have eaten at G&D for Sunday lunch but do not fancy it for the Christmas meal with the girlies.

Nowhere yet as not had time due to my little one being ill but am hoping to book somewhere next week. May see if we can try one of the recommnedations tomorrow for lunch. Never did hear back from The Vine :o(
