The switch on ceremony is Sunday afternoon (30th Nov) approx 4p.m.
There are various events going on in Salisbury Square and St Andrew Street

There are leaflets and posters in most shops in town - including Waitrose, WH Smiths, Roberto Gerrards, Kitten, The Women's Society etc etc and the tourist info

Glad to hear the switch on is at 4.00pm this year. I missed the whole thing last year running back to get my car out of the car park which was closing at 5.00 [:(!]

Anyone know who if any local 'celebrity' will be switching on the lights?
The only candidates I can think of are... Rupert Grint and, of course, there is always the celebrated local author who is rarely out of the newspapers... John Barber [:D]

Already booked up I'm afraid. Last day of the beer fest at Old Barge and I need a few more stamps to claim a free drink.
