Madford Retail Park
You've probably never heard of it. You probably don't know where it is. In fact, calling it a retail park at all is a bit ambitious. And was someone having a laugh when they christened it?

It's the Focus (or Do It All as I'll always call it) / Matalan units. A search on http://www.google.com shows that it appears to be a popular name for retail parks up and down the country.

Do It All is a bit of a misnomer actually, seeing as their stock control is such rubbish. Walk around the store anytime and you'll see empty pegs all over the place. Everytime I visit there's always something I want that is out of stock.

I live in the Sele Farm end of town and tend to use B&Q in WGC. It's easier to get to, easier to park and has a better range of stuff.

I didn't know there was a B and Q there - whereabout is it? My WGC knowledge is resticted to John Lewis/Marks & Spencers (being female) - can you give me directions?

Take the A414 towards Hatfield. After you go past the Hertingfordbury roundabout, turn right at the next roundabout (the B195 - Birchall Lane). Take the 1st left after about a mile into Cole Green Lane and then right into Heronswood Road at the next roundabout. B&Q is about another mile on the right by the Land Rover garage.
