have raided daughter's piggy bank,
dug deep down between the sofa cushions, used a metal detector in the garden and emptied all the trouser pockets in my wash basket BUT feel I may need to ask for an equity release loan from my mortgage provider as I need to park at Hertford County Hospital today.

Hi Millie sorry to hear you have raided your daughters piggy bank just to be able to park at the hospital, I know the feeling of having to park there and the extortionate fees they charge for having to get medical treatment, I understand that some hospitals have stopped charging for parking but no doubt Hertford County will be one of the last if this happens all over the country.

I went for a chest x-ray last month & paid my £2.50. The time on the ticket was 13:03 & I was back in my car by 13:11. Unfortunately I could not find anyone to give my ticket to for them to use!

I gather that you can park for free if you are only going for a blood test, if you show your form to the attendant, if you can find him, but that might have stopped now! also Willow I think like most parking tickets they are not transferable, I know it's a bummer but it's the law.
