I would imagine it's got something to do with the serious accident on the A10, which is closed at the Westmill roundabout.

A friend of mine was overtaken by the car that span out of control on the A414.
Seems they were trying to get down the fast lane at over 60mph when they lost control.

Thanks everyone, I am in Bengeo so I probably heard all of them, thats why there seemed to be so many for so long...........also explains the queue on Bengeo Street at 9.30!
Thankfully been to Enfield and back without incident and not going out again for a while if I can avoid it our road is still very slippery!
