chinese take away
Tonight i was really desparate for a chinese take away, (i'm 8mths preg, so i blame the hormones!)
But couldnt beleive it that none of the chinese take aways in Hertford will deliver!! How stuipid is that.
Luckily i have managed to order one from a chinese in WGC [:D] Only 45 mins til it arrives.....yummy [:p]
Can anyone suggest a good take away for next time i need chinese?

I like china red in ware but I don't think they will deliver all the way to Hertford.
Golden City in WGC will deliver, but their phone was out of order last time I tried to phone them.

I'm a BIG chinese fan and have always had Wok-U-like deliver to me in Hertford. They're based in Ware. Always great food and service, try there![:D]

Thanks newgirl, i will give them a try next time i want chinese. But it could be some time now, as a few hours after having the chinese i ended up in hosp.

The Empire at the corner of Cow Bridge and Port Vale is excellent.
I can also reveal that it is patronised by certain people of great culinary expertise......[:D]

Oooh the Empire brings back memories - been going a good few years now. I remember staggering down from the Reindeer (now the Hillside) and having a pancake roll and chips to walk up the Ware Road home with -yummy! Not very healthy I know but who cared!

the Empire & the Sun Light are 2 of my early memories having been raised in Hertford - strange the things you remember eh? Funnily enough, I remember being in the car and 2 guys had a fight just near the window....some things never change I guess! lol!

We had a takeway from the Sunlight the first day when we moved to Hertford. Then found that we were neighbours to the owner.
