Where did the Ivy go??
I can't believe that someone saw fit to remove Gascgoine Way's one saving grace - the Ivy that was growing up the spiral ramps. Why? It looked great in the autumn when the leaves turned scarlett.

I wonder if there was a structural issue

I think this was Virginia Creeper and not ivy and it does have a habit of growing a lot and can overtake a building or car park in a short time but it does look nice in the autumn.

I think it all got removed a few years ago - shows how quickly it grows back!

rather than remove it, they should have covered the whole exterior with it

I saw them there last week and they seemed to be removing large quatities of "tree ivy" not sure if thats what you mean.
