This is the old Waggon and Horses at Great Amwell. Had a nice meal there about 2 months ago. Very good value and friendly staff. Lovely roast chicken mmmmm

From an atlas it appears that they are nevertheless still in the Channel Islands, outside the EU & not far from France....
