Hertford Tea Room
Has anyone been to the Hertford Tea Room? Always walk past it and fancied going in but looking for some feedback.
Apprentley they do a nice sunday roast!

I've been once. The teas were good and the food okay but coffees were limited.

I went there the other week had an egg and bacon bagel - best bagel Ive had - apparently from a bakery in Stevenage. Only downside for me was no decaffinated coffee. Good selection of teas including herbal and fruit as well as a large selection of other teas. They deserve to do well.

I found them lovely, they were a little slow one lunchtime due to shortage of staff, but I have fond memories, the Tea Room used to be the old Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society HQ until 1982 and I have sung, danced and auditioned when much younger in their high ceilinged room!!! So Drama Queen was very keen to try out and relive her childhood and teenage memories.. its lovely [:D]

Good prices (I thought) £2.95 for egg and bacon bagel. Cant remember coffee prices!
