A for sale sign went up for a house in Townshend Street two days ago. Steven Oates. Semi detached, basement at front with massive lightwell. 4 mins walk from HE. Had a nose on Rightmove yesterday and couldn't see it, might have been too soon; haven't tried today.

Been to Townshend Street. It made me cry. How to ruin a Victorian house plus no room for a doublebed in either bedroom.
Yes Teddylad would love to live somewhere on the Folly. Very nearly brought one there 2 years ago but was gazumped after offer was accepted. Husbands number 1 choice of Hertford location actually.

£275 i think. It wasn't the price that was the problem it was the renovations they had made to the inside. Maybe its sold as i can't find it now either.

It's too close to xmas, wait until January. Right now is traditionally the slowest part of the year for estate agents.

Walked past Shepherds earlier today and noticed that most of the properties they are showing in the window have a 'SOLD' sticker attached therefore this must mean that they have a lack of new properties to market!
I would wait til the new year... I know for sure that my next door neighbour will be marketing their property in the new year once its been rebuilt!
