New housing development on Dicker Mill site?
There's a rumour going around that the little industrial estate has been sold to Weston Homes, who are intending to build another housing development on the site.
Anyone know whether there's any truth in the matter?

I suspect you mean the industrial estate at the end on Marshgate Drive, opposite Dicker Mill.
Both this site and the current Meads development next door are both the work of Zog. Planning permission for 182 homes was refused a while back, but an appeal to The Planning Inspectorate was allowed.

Click on "Zog Brownfield" and select no.16.
The two sites combined will provide 312 homes.

That's probably it, although I'd heard it second-hand that the units on the Dicker Mill side had been given eviction notices because of a proposed 'future development'.
Obviously I'd be keen to hear if the rumour had any foundation in truth, or was just an early April Fool.
