Does anyone know of a local farm that sells direct to the public?

And there's that chap on the road to Stansted out of Bengeo with the farm trailer. Can't remember his name, but as you drive out of the city limits he's on the right. Look for the blackboard with 'Hors Carrots' written on it.

One would have thought that the ladies of ill repute would purchase their vegetables in supermarkets, or are they still concerned about their anonymity?[:D]

That'll be Reg the Veg. Very good value, just don't expect to find okra or courgettes or anything else "exotic" there [:D] Had a few rabbits from him in the past, too.

I doubt Reg the Veg will be there this week!
There is a farm shop on the A602 not sure if it is only meat though.
Also Pearces on the A10 is said to be very good but that is further out.
