It went live yesterday evening (see Telegraph article linked above). I've worked out how to use it on Google Maps. On the left hand side of the satellite image is a slider to zoom in and out. Immediately above the slider is an orange person. You can drag the person onto a location on the map to see the street view. Drag the street view photo to see 360 degrees.

it shows all streets. it's not just hertford that is newly added, they've done all the surrounding villages, and indeed melbourn is now added too which is where I work!

It went past me in Parliament Square on Friday and it was on Cowbridge on this morning.
