Holiday house in Europe - anyone got one?
Hi we're looking to rent a small flat/house somewhere hot in Europe this summer. But we may have left it too late. If any of you lucky people have a place to rent out somewhere nice let me know!

Northern Spain near a beach would be great as its a quick flight or even a train ride with some spectacular scenery round there.
Alternatively i would like to train it to Mediterranean France\Italy.

No , no , sorry im confusing matters , you was right when you directed your question to darodedi .
My user name , Donostia , is the Basque name for San Sebastian , a great City in Northern Spain with 3 beautiful beaches , as you was asking for something similar , i added my comment , sorry . [:I]
Although i would recommend it , only a 1.5 hour flight to Biarritz and fantastic food .
On the minus side though , it is bl**dy expensive .

Ok. I´ve got family in Bilbao. I´ll ask them about houses. Like Dodostia, Bilbao is a lovely place with airport, but it isn´t really hot. The weather is wet.
What do you thik about Barcelona?

I liked the small towns and beaches in Northern Spain though and being near the Picos when I last went.

I went to San Vicente de la Barquera , it was a Sunday , and hundreds of families were all eating the most fantastic fish meals in the restaurants , but it's the worst place in Europe to find a car parking place and the rain never stopped .
Fantastic place though .
