Deco Re-Opening???
Passed the bar today and it had new posters in the windows claiming "Deco-reborn" and looking like they had a line-up of DJs and might be opening up just as a bar soon??? Anyone heard of this?

I heard this via facebook as they created an event (was quite telling that there were only 13 confirmed guests when I looked)

Its a horrible place I must say- too small to be ibiza like (I am guessing never been myself) people are just standing around at the dancefloor as far as I see - anway else is just trying to get through as bar is other side of dance floor.

Critique:
As a group of four adults, we ventured into this place for a drink last night out of curiosity more than anything. Access through the main front doors on the street was not allowed.
After getting through the obligatory bouncer control (the female was superb by the way; she killed the little-man-syndrome hitler with the people in/out gadget in his hand on the door by actually engaging in polite conversation) we were allowed in.
The external entrance area was full of people smoking which is fair enough as there is a roped off channel to get to the 'kiosk' (same as the old Stags/Zeros days).
£5 entry, £1 to hang your warming garments up as you are not allowed to wear a coat or jacket in the place.
To say that the downstairs is a death trap is an absolute understatement. It was dark and totally packed with people, and trying to get to the one bar was a joke. I eventually succeeded and after the barmaid managed to lip-read my request we moved back up to the bar area on street level.
We left within 20 minutes after reality set in that we were no longer in our late teens or twenties.
Never again.
The place is worse than the Zeros era and although smoking is obviously now banned within the premises, the thought of the dee-jay area catching fire fills me with horror as from a logical point of view, there would be a wildebeest stampede to get out.
ToWiND. (The Only Way is Not Deco, in my humble opinion of course).
