Pub with a private room / area for a meeting
I'm the Head Coach for a Hertford RFC mini rugby team and I'm planning on having a parents meeting, ideally in Hertford Town Centre, from 7.30 to 9pm followed by a general social that I would expect to go on well into the evening I'd expect circa 50 people.
I'm targeting the evening Friday 3rd September - does anyone out there have any suggestions, or better still, are there any pub landlords out there who are interested in our business?

I know it's not a pub, but it does have a bar area so I'll mention it. Ruby (the old Merchant House) has a private dining room on the first floor that can cater for up to 80 people (the owner told me when we were enjoying an al-fresco curry and I asked him what was upstairs). I'm sure that even if you're not eating, they would take your booking if the room is free and there were 50 people possibly drinking in to the night attending.
