Brew for the Few - Saturday 18th September

The Hertford & District Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association are holding a 'Brew for The Few', coffee morning on Saturday 18th September in the Gardens of the Hertford Club, between 10.00am & 4.00pm. The event forms part of the annual Wings Appeal and is timed to coincide with the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Funds raised go towards providing welfare and support for current and ex serving RAF personnel. The event is open to all, so if you're around drop in.

This is a lovely event. I had a really nice cup of tea and slice of cake when this fundraising happened before. DQ has a connection to this event and anybody who wants to support our current and past RAF and their families, a nice little detour to the Hertford Club where you can rest your feet and buy a cake/scone or whatever is lovely. I shall be popping along at some point.. [:D]
