mmmm...ive heard nothing either.....very low key launch it seems. Quite strange in these economic times not to be shouting from the hilltops. Ruby certainly know how to get everyones attention.

i happened to pass last night actually, there were quite a few cars in the car park, but didnt look that busy inside - but wouldnt expect it to be on a Tues! I did notice a lot of the cars seemed pretty fancy - huge mercs etc. I guess they're still going for the upmarket style?

I haven't had the chance to try here yet but I will as it is owned and managed by the same people who own Brookmans at Brookmans Park. This has always had a nice atmosphere and a good menu with the food and drink being of a high standard. Will report back soon

I’m such a pessimist but always strikes me as slightly questionable when a person that has never used the forum before logs in to create 1 post as a review about how good somewhere is that sound vaguely like an advert. *runs off to book now since it was packed last Sunday and that person only just got a seat when they called Wednesday!* Likely I'm just being a miserable old git so I look forward to your future posts Daisymay and welcome. Chances are the owners / management do look here and I always like a place where they stand up to be counted. Anyone else been here recently? I haven’t been since it was the old College Arms and it was nice back then although service did tail off towards the latter few time I went.

I only live down the road from the place, and it does generally seem to be busy the majority of the time. We have been in for meals 5 times now and all have been great, so I would still recommend.

Our archery club had the annual dinner there a couple of weekends ago. There were many of us, with varied demands for food (they handled a variety of steak orders well, and kept our table well stocked with wine). The food was very good and pint of beer I had before dinner was well kept. I heard some complaints about the price of soft drinks, but can't comment personally since I didn't have any! I'd happily go back again.
