We always go to Pearce's Farm shop on the A10. Also, Oaks Cross Farm on the A602 between Watton and Stevenage normally have them.

I have had a leaflet for the Mill Mead School Christmas fair. It might be a bit late for some of you but Dane End Christmas tree farm will be selling 3ft -7ft trees at the fair tomorrow (Sun 4th) 1pm-3pm.

Save your dosh! Go to the Dane End Christmas Tree Farm. Much cheaper than shops and you can pick your tree while it's still in the groung. Type in postcode SG120LP in your satnav, or there should be signs when you get to Dane End

We went to Pearce's Farm shop on Sunday only to find it had closed at 1pm, so we got ours from Bengeo Nursery. We are very pleased with it, they were very helpful and had a good selection.

After visiting a few places last weekend we ended up at Dane End and were very pleased with the selection of trees available and at a good price. First time there but will definitely be going back next year.

Hi Alec - that was a few guinesses ago and I can't remember exactly though £40 sounds about right. Nice tree with hardly any needles dropping, I'll be going back next year.

Ours was from the sale at Mill Mead school. I think they got them sale or return from Dane End at a discount and made about £5 on each tree. It was about £40 which I thought was a bit steep but it was a good tree and lasted well, even with the kittens playing with it.

No offense intended, but I can't believe that people actually pay £40 for a Christmas tree [:0]. I really do need to move with the times.........second thoughts, I don't think I'll bother [:)]
