the land lady of the woolpack who seemed to scare[:(!] off a lot of the customers has now gone back to ware with her husband who seemed nice[:)] and a new land lady has started. i have been told she is nice but not had the oppertunity to meet her yet. i hope that she goes back to the old policy regarding children and not the strict policy that was implemented last year.[V]has any one met her yet and do you know the policy on children there now[?]

yes they have people screaming down microphones but only on a wednesday !!!![:0] so that is the day NOT to go[;)]. have now spoken to both landlady and landlord (i think)[^] cool they are relaxed and a laugh. they come over and introduce themselves cant fault them !!!!!!!![:D]

I think there is a lot of snobbishness about Karaoke. After all it is live entertainment, and some of the people who stand up have fantastic voices. I think Karaoke is good fun, I wouldn't stand up and sing myself, but I admire the people who do.

I know we are all guilty of making typos, but I couldn't help but laugh when I saw "British & Irish Loins" on the board outside the Woolpack today. Perhaps they are combining the sports and food :-)

the woolpack is fab , Sam and Matt are funny , the karaoke is fine , but the quiz on a monday is brilliant , great mix of people , the regulars are very friendly , give it a go!

A pub is not an appropriate place for children. They will have all there lives to spend in pubs when they are old enough. So many of the people I know from school who were "brought up" in their local pub are borderline/actual alcoholics and it is very sad.

I would go to the pub every Sunday in the summer with my family as a child, I certainly dont have a drink problem! If the parents are responsible then children and MOST pubs go fine together, although I do agree that a smoky pub etc is not a place for a child to be. But with the glorious weather of late, a pub garden is a great place for a family to be!

everything about this pub is great great place great setting great landlady the whole package with this pub is fully satisfying the beer tastes good the food is very proffesional and the entertainment is always tops the only thing i would say about this pub is ITS GREAT TRY IT ON A WEDNESDAY ITS GREAT oh and did i say ITS GREAT

when i go out thats where i go its freindly clean and ur guarenteed a trouble free drink plus dave does an awesome karaoke on a wednesday his at mine on a tuesday come down here and you will see why i go there
