Shortfall in Police Budget
Cross Road in Bengeo was particularly chaotic today with the usual cat and mouse parking and huge vehicles disgorging small children.
If the local boys in blue want to earn some extra cash in the current climate, they could collect a few pennies here. Two cars obstructing corners, and at least six making right-hand turns from Bengeo Street heading to the infamous rat-run...

Actually, the mercury reported that herts police have a new "squad" of people dedicated to policing parking around local schools. You just have to call a specific number when there's an issue.
