Fun Swim Centres
Not Hertford orientated unfortunately!
Does anyone know of any 'fun' swimming places that are within an hour's journey? Harlow used to have the tubes (don't know if they still have) and the Lido at Broxbourne had the wave machine - is there anywhere else along the same lines?

it's ok I had some luck on the internet. If anybody else is interested, there is a place called Aquasplash at Hemel Hempstead.
It's an indoor water park featuring Space bowl, super flume, tyre ride, drag race, multi slide, falling rapids and lazy river - know I'll love that!! [:D][:D]
Open 10-6 this Sunday & Monday

Aquasplash is great but it gets packed. Be prepared. There also used to be a Burger King by the pool. So if you have people going along who are not joining in the only place to sit was by the burger outlet.
Letchworth pool also has a tube and a wave machine.
Watford used to have something similar, but I don't know if is still there.

Hemel is good fun, and so was Watfordm but I heard they had to close Watford :(

St Albans swimming pool (near Abbey Station) also has tubes, but I think they are only open during school holidays and, maybe, the week end. The pool is OK but the changing rooms are in dire need of some redecoration.
