Having been looking for some of my family and not finingthem in parish records I discovered today HALS also have some non conformist registers and it is worth looking. I have found baptisms at the Congregational Church on Cowbridge (now United Reform) and also funerals with details of where the burial took place and found another family memmber is in Bengeo Churchyard although the service was not there. Also some I knew where buried in Bengeo actually had their service on Cowbridge. Just thought if anyone else is having similar trouble it is worth checking.
