RingGo Parking at Gascoyne Way
Just noticed they've introduced the option to pay for your parking at Gascoyne Way via Mobile Phone & Credit Card. Not as good as Pay on Exit, but still some progress and what could be quite an advantage to Town Centre residents such as me who have to keep renewing their parking tickets.

Just tried to book parking for tomorrow morning, and the website crashed the 5 times I went through the process (on multiple browsers). Not a great start for the new system. Good in Theory but no bloody point if you can't actually make a booking!!!!

I've used the ringo website for 6months now, never had a problem with it.
The phoneline is good too once you've registered.

Have used RingGo on holiday before, very good system!! Don't know if it will be the same here but when I have used previously it alerts you ten minutes before the parking ticket is due to run out and offers for you to extend via a simple phone call!!

Website is working fine now. Payment system was down temporarily when I tried before. Looks like a good system when its up and running. [:)]

Even has an iphone App. The optional confirmation and 10 minute warning text messages are also useful but do cost 10p each.
