FREE FIRE WOOD ?
We have just felled a dead chestnut tree. It lies in a field on the border of Hertford and Tewin with vehicular access. Although not known to be the best firewood if someone wants it; it's there for the taking.
You will need a big chainsaw and know how to use it! There are ponies in the field which are fenced off. You will require a trailer
and/or a pick up truck.

Well, it seems there's not many chainsaws in the area or people willing to cut up and split timber....with the exception of ANDY
I keep reading in the press that some of the elderly are going to die from hypothermia this winter. Maybe I got it all wrong?
So much for our community spirit !
